Remote Consultations
Sometimes it is expedient to consult remotely. While remote consultations cannot provide the same depth of observation as an in-person site visit, we do offer the opportunity to chat with us online by email, by phone, or Skype. If you need a check-in or someone else to troubleshooting a problem, a remote consultation is for you. Unsolved problems can be very expensive. Mentorships
Mentorships are an opportunity to engage us as mentors beyond the scope of small projects or even a single season. In this flexible package, we offer weekly hours available for remote consultation or bundled as travel to your operation. Our Mentorship is a dedicated way to integrate our distinctive approach into your own unique vision. Our Mentorship combines the best elements of remote consultations with a sustained personal connection of an agricultural apprenticeship. This consultation amounts to ready access to the soil alchemists at the Edaphon Institute, their exclusive remedies, and practical wisdom. Soil building is more of an art than a science, and the best artists learn from the masters. This gives you a direct line to ask your questions as they arise and guarantee prompt responses. The Edaphon Institute dedicates itself to furthering ecological farming until the last blade of grass is redeemed.
Intensive: our consultants are here to get you up and running and point you to the best available resources. This includes priority in terms of time, energy, and response frequency. In addition to this, four (4) hours of direct consulting time is included.
Supportive: for those interested in expanding their knowledge at a moderate but steady pace, we will work to help you manifest long-term goals over time. This includes one (1) hour of personal consulting per month.
Casual: for those who need occasional feedback or direction but are necessarily looking to bring about change as quickly as possible, this provides half an hour (30min) of consulting time every month.
